The Kochere District is located in Chalalacktu, a township located in the famous Yirgacheffe region. This area has some of the most sought-after coffee in the region; as much as 30% of the coffee exported from Yirgacheffe comes from the Kochere District. The Kochere District’s high elevation paired with the classic Yirgacheffe washed processing yields a very sweet cup that is clean and complex with notes molasses and citrus.
